I just made a new mix CD for Song Shen out of MP3’s I had on my hard drive. I had a pretty good feel for which songs she would like in some cases, but I got a few pleasant surprises too. I’m always trying to push her musical taste a little closer to mine, so I rejoice with every small victory. (I push myself to listen to more of her music too.)

My little victories were the three Cake songs, the 311, the Blur, the Enon, and the Ben Folds. Soon I will completely control her mind!!! Oh, and a special thanks to Grace, who downloaded a lot of these songs at home (and then I copied them and took them back to China).
