Every now and then I check out a Flash animation and game showcase called Newgrounds.com. It was Newgrounds that hosted the original Alien Hominid, the best Flash game ever made.

Anyway, recently I discovered this new artist on Newgrounds called Sakupen, and he does some killer work. I like the simplicity of his style. It looks something like what I think my own style would look like if I ever put in the time and effort.

Anyway, check these out:

• Dad’s Home: Cute animation, senseless destruction, and rocking out. Good times.
• Walk-Smash-Walk: What seems at first to be dull and repetitive turns out to be clever and catchy in this case. Check it.

Oh, and BTW, speaking of Synj (creator of Alien Hominid), you gotta check out this other animation of his called synj vs. horrid. It also happens to be amazingly awesome. Totally.
