Recently my friend Jason Smith told me about a band called Snow Patrol that he thought I might like. Eventually I got around to checking out the band. Holy crap, this band is awesome!

I found myself drawn to one song in particular. It’s called [Run](/music/snow patrol - run.mp3). Then later I discovered that [Run](/music/snow patrol - run.mp3) has been released as a single in the US and it’s getting a fair amount of airtime and popularity. Have you heard it?

This just goes to support my suspicion that some mainstream music is popular because it’s actually good. (I couldn’t like bad music, now, could I?!) …well, if not good, then at least catchy!
