Well, it all went fairly smoothly. She said yes. She likes the ring.

Wilson made the good suggestion of videoing the whole thing. Unfortunately I hadn’t thought of that, and time was short at that point. Lenny lent me his camera, which took decent (albeit small) video.

Micah took 4 short clips at the scene, and I edited them together and added subtitles with Windows Movie Maker. The result:

Update: Song Shen is not unenthusiastic in the video. It’s just that she was really surprised and embarrassed to be the focus of attention in a public place. She tried to deal with the awkwardness with humor, which may make her seem less than enthusiastic. I can assure you that is not the case. She watched the video like 20 times later that night. She was thrilled.
