Last night I dreamed a woke up to found three strangers in my apartment. I say “strangers,” but actually I sort of knew them. The apartment was this current apartment, but the two bedrooms were completely differently decorated. Carl no longer lived here, but apparently his computer was still here, because it turned out that the reason the guys were here was to get Carl’s ADSL login name/PW from his computer so that these guys could use it to get free internet access elsewhere.

This doesn’t make sense, because we have two computers connected to the internet here, so we have a router. The ADSL password is stored in the router. But in the dream, each computer had its own login/PW, apparently.

The tech guy the two other guys brought with them was short and wiry; I’m pretty sure it was Carl’s friend Pat. I don’t know who the other two guys were, but I supposedly had met them once before, and they said their names were John and Carl. (OK, that dream was seriously lacking in creativity there.)

Anyway, I didn’t know what they were trying to do at first, but once I understood I got kinda pissed off. I told them that loggon on from two different locations with the same login/PW was going to get the account canceled, but they didn’t seem worried. The tech guy also tried to “have a look” at my computer, but I chased him out.
