I suddenly came down with a flu yesterday and ended up in bed all afternoon with a fever. I’m getting over it today, I think. What a bummer to be getting sick on my precious 7-day vacation, though. The next long vacation isn’t until China New Year.

The last time I got significantly sick was almost exactly a year ago, several days before SS and I left for our Turkish honeymoon. Istarted out sick on the honeymoon, but got better over the course of it.

I’ve actually been paying attention, and except for a few 1-2 day “almost colds,” I haven’t been sick for a year. I think I’ve been eating pretty well and getting enough rest. Could use more exercise, though.
