Thing have been a little crazy lately:

• SS is in the final stretch leading up to her Fudan University MBA entrance exam. It’s going to take a lot of hard work and a bit of luck for her to make it in, but she’s going to give it her best shot. The exam is in early January, and she has taken an entire month off of work (which she gets for being married to a foreigner!).

• Matt, an Australian I’ve known for a long time through the internet (and met once in Suzhou, years ago) was recently hired as CPod’s Product Manager. He’s a fun guy, full of energy, and with amazing Chinese. I am relieved to be handing off a bunch of my more mundane duties.

• I’ve been working personally on some new video shows for ChinesePod. Quite wacky. I’ll post a YouTube link for the first one.

• Work is busy and more than a bit tumultuous lately. Ask me about it privately if you’re curious.

• I got a USB wireless mouse for my Mac. Holy crap, these things are awesome! Makes using my Mac way more enjoyable. I wish I had done this sooner! I’ve decided that my Mac is suspiciously slow for having 4 GB of RAM, though. I need to investigate. I’ve read that some brands of RAM aren’t working properly in the new MacBooks.

And wow, Christmas is coming! Hope everyone is well.

SS and I are leaving shortly to go to an Indian co-worker’s home for dinner. I’m really looking forward to authentic Indian food!
