Poor little Newton has finally had surgery on his bad leg. The operation happened this afternoon, and now he has to stay in the doggy hospital for 10 days.

Altogether this will cost us close to 1000 USD, but if we didn’t do it, his leg would have withered and gotten worse, and possibly would have eventually affected his good hind leg (the one he broke as a puppy).

Anyway, he’s know just a year old, so we’re optimistic that he will recover fully.
