So the new company, AllSet Learning (new website), is no longer a secret. It was announced on Sinosplice as well is in both the CPod Blog and the CPod News & Features show.

Here’s a chat I had recently with a friend:

friend: Hey! What’s all this now?!

me: hey hey! what’s all what now?

friend: New venture? Did you leave CPod?

me: New venture, yes. Leave CPod, no. Best of both worlds! :)

friend: Wow. Good for you!

me: thanks. I’m really excited about it. Everything is going pretty well so far, but there’s so much to do… How are things going for you?

friend: Awesome. Business is picking up.

me: that’s great… no thanks to the economy, huh? :)

friend: No thanks AT ALL. lol

me: heh… stupid economy

friend: Yeah. But I’m working smarter these days, not harder. Going after different kinds of clients.

me: I have always been a fan of “work smarter, not harder.” I still remember the day when Scrooge McDuck introduced me to the concept on DuckTales. Life-changing.

friend: Haha

me: (That probably sounds like I’m mocking you, but I’m being totally serious… it’s where I first heard the expression)

me: Fortunately I didn’t take the bit about the “number one dime” too seriously…

friend: That’s funny. I actually thought you were serious, since most of my life lessons came from superhero comics. :)
