That’s good advice. Recently a guy applied it to trying to pick up my sister Grace. His approach went like this (and Grace, please correct me if I get part of it wrong…) [I’ve since edited it for accuracy]:

Guy: Excuse me… you look good.

Grace: Thank you.

Guy: What’s your name?

Grace: Grace.

Guy: You married?

Grace: Yes.

Guy: [turns around and walks away]
