I haven’t posted much on this blog lately, I know. The summer has been a blur. The weather just started getting a little chilly today, and just in time… SS is finally starting to get big, and she feels overly warm often.

We’ve been to 2 prenatal classes already, and they have served to strengthen SS’s resolve to have a natural birth, and not to use the epidural until she really needs it.

We’ve gotten rid of the couch in the spare bedroom and dismantled and moved out a bulky clothing rack. We’ve got a new bed on order (should arrive in about a week), and we’re buying a nice crib secondhand from one of my clients. (The bed is so that someone can sleep with the baby, and then people in the master bedroom can sleep.)

SS has finished her 3-month HR certification course, and taken the exam, including the oral interview. Still waiting on the results from that. Now she’s just getting ready to chill a bit more. She walks really slowly, and has a little trouble walking because her belly presses on a nerve that makes her leg hurt. Overall, she’s fine, though.

Work continues to be busy, but things are going well. Should have some exciting developments soon.

Watched Pootie Tang today, finally. Was slightly amused, but not overly impressed…
