So I have varicose veins in my right leg behind the knee, and a little around the ankle. My left leg seems fine so far.

The doctor I went to said it won’t get better, it’ll only get worse. But I can slow the deterioration by avoiding being on my feet for long periods of time, taking the medicine they gave me, and wearing an elastic leg band.

I feel so old, but I’m only 26! Still, it’s not really so bad… They’re not painful or anything. Just ugly. These pictures (scroll down) comforted me somewhat, in a morbid way (warning: the pictures are pretty gross). Here’s more.

To give you an idea of my condition (no, I’m not going to post pictures of it!), my leg is not yet as bad as this guy’s.
