For the past few days I’ve been busy apartment hunting with Song Shen’s help, and now Carl and Lenny. Carl and I are going to move into a new place together in the next 2 weeks. Lenny will probably move up in 2 more months (after finishing up his lease and some other business in Hangzhou). So that leaves his room empty for when Wilson visits at the end of January.

My contract with Melody finishes at the end of January. I’m hoping to be unemployed for about a month after that (I have some savings), so I should be very free for a good chunk of the time Wilson’s in China. Of course, I may be job hunting or doing some part time work after Chinese New Year (Feb. 9, I think?).

Anyway, just thought I’d share that update. If all goes well, we’ll be signing a lease this weekend and moving into the new place the following weekend (Dec. 12). The place we’ve found (it’s going to be hard to beat it in the next few days, which is the time Carl and Lenny have to find something better) is pretty NICE.
