Russell left to go teach in Japan Wednesday morning. He came up to Shanghai from Hangzhou on Tuesday morning, and we hung out pretty much all day on Tuesday. It was really good to hang out with him; I hadn’t fully realized how much I’ve missed his company since I left Hangzhou. I’ll miss him.

I hope I can visit him in Japan before too long. I’m due back for a visit.
