Dreaming of Russell
September 26, 2005
I just woke up. I had a weird dream last night, and I’m going to try to type it down before I forget it. Russell was in it.
I don’t remember the first part clearly. I think it involved the ZUCC gang. John B was leaving China (although we weren’t really in China) to come back later. (I think Alf was doing the same, in another part of the dream.)
At one point I was in a pretty empty room that John B once inhabited, and there was a bunch of old discarded things. I was recommending to Russell some crappy books that I read. One was “Mysteries of Webster.” It was like “Unsolved Mysteries,” but for words. Hmmmm. Russell didn’t want it. Another was a Steven Seagal novel. The plot revolved around the founding fathers of the US. I think there were secret societies involved. I know that the ghost of Thomas Jefferson was involved in some really cheesey plot device. (In the dream I had read it, and I was recommending reading it as “better than doing absolutely nothing.”) Russell took it.
There was also a kind Mexican driver who was happy to take me home (to my home in Brandon) early.
