Last Saturday night, SS and I went to a dance performance called Night of the Sultans: Pandora’s Legend. Expat mag City Weekend describes it thusly:

Produced by American Marcel Avram in 2004, this glorious dancing drama combines Irish jig, Turkish belly dance, Eastern folk dance and many other modern dances to explore Pandora’s story.

Our tickets were 480 RMB (US$60) each, which is pretty steep, but it really was quite a show, and we had pretty good seats (although they were only midrange).

The story centered around the Greek myths of Prometheus and Pandora.
