We’re using some of the elements of these magazine photos to help our designer understand the look we’re going for. (Mainly the walls and arches, and the “wooden beam” elements — not the furniture!) This is mostly SS’s idea, but I really like it! I’m totally stoked about this new apartment, I just wish we didn’t have to go through this huge hassle of designing it and managing the construction. (Fortunately SS’s mom is helping with that.)
