For Christmas SS got me a new Sony Ericsson cell phone! It’s pretty cool. It’s got a 2 megapixel digital camera with a light, it’s got an MP3 player and FM radio, it’s got an audio recorder… it even takes video. It cost something like 1888 RMB. Really cool phone. I’m still getting used to it, but so far I really like it.

Having this new camera phone means I have a small digital camera that I’ll be taking with me everywhere I go. That will probably mean a lot more photos. The quality is not as good as my trusty “ancient” Fuji Finepix (bought in August 2000), but it’s just so portable. I’ve been thinking that if I were to get a new camera, it would have to be extremely portable. This one fulfills that requirement, so I won’t need to buy a new digital camera for a while, methinks.

Here’s an example of the kind of quality the camera is producing so far: Not amazing quality, but quite decent. If you look at it at full size it’s kinda bad, though.

Oh, and SS got her new MacBook. She loves it. She’ll probably be getting a new e-mail address soon too. Stay tuned.
