The other night I dreamed that John B and his wife got a puppy. It looked just like the puppy that SS and I looked at before.

A few days later, John B and wife decided that they really couldn’t keep the dog, and while I was at work they convinced SS to take it. So I came home to that surprise.

(Background: SS has been pushing really hard to get a puppy ASAP. I keep holding her off, telling her we need to wait until we’re both in the home enough to care for, train, and play with a puppy.)
