So I was supposed to fly out on December 29th on JetBlue, then catch a China Eastern flight out of JFK International that same afternoon. No such luck. You can see how JetBlue made its cancellations to reduce traffic by half (I was supposed to be on flight 64): Bummer.

But I’m actually able to get work done here. Finally got the Facebook pages for Sinosplice and AllSet done while here, and it’s a lot easier to do without having to mess with a proxy.

I’m also able to spend more time with family, and since it seems today that I’m basically over my flu and my appetite is returning, I can enjoy food again!

Plus, now that I have to spend the night in NYC on my way back on January 2nd, I’ll be able to see Megan, and she’s invited me to stay at her place. That’s cool. I flight out on January 3rd and arrive in Shanghai January 4th.

So, apologies to my wife, but this is turning out to be not such a bad thing after all.
